laced woodpecker @ bukit brown - Jan2012

Found myself in a quiet spot when a bird flew past and landed on a tree closeby. It started machine-gunning the wood on the tree stump. Obviously it was a woodpecker ... upon checking later, i think it was a female Laced Woodpecker. It stayed on the stump for a few minutes occasionally preening itself and intermittently woodpecking the stump.
