Crocodylus porosus @ Sg Buloh Wetland Reserve 23Apr2011

This croc was resting under the shade of the overhanging bush in the shallows near observation screen 1.12. (Moments later two sunbirds would risk certain death by engaging in serious wrestling right on the mud closeby.) An estimate of its length ~ 1.5m. It got spooked by the noise made by passing visitors and moved off slowly disappearing into the surrounding water leaving no wake on the surface.

The clip was shot well after the sunbird fracas and the croc must have liked that particular spot as it returned to the exact spot.
