leopard-spotted puffer fish @ Sg. Buloh 10Apr2011

Came across this spotted leopard print-like puffer fish at the Sungei Buloh mangroves. It could possibly be a large green spotted puffer fish.  It seemed to be actively eye-balling the surface of the wooden stakes... probably on the lookout for snails which are one of it's favourite foods. This one is estimated to be between 15 to 20cm long.

  1. Pleasantly surprised that they exist in Singapore waters! Thank you!
